Interestingly, it was Karan Johar who had kickstarted Imran on the tweeting path, just before he commenced shooting for ‘I Hate Luv Storys’.

Explaining his stance on quitting Twitter, Khan states in a tabloid quote, “While it encourages a two way communication, Twitter also needs you to be constantly in touch with fans, and after a point the questions can get pretty personal.”

Clarifies Khan, “I’d also like to state that I’m not quitting Twitter coz’ I’m angry or upset. On the contrary, I enjoyed reaching out to so many people. It’s been a lot of fun and I’m thankful for all the good times. I think what it all boils down to is that I just don’t feel Twitter is right for me.”
