Days prior to the promotion of his upcoming flick ‘Break Ke Baad,’ ‘IHLS’ Khan begged off the tweeting bandwagon citing the “intrusive” nature of the micro blogging site as one of the chief reasons.

Interestingly, it was Karan Johar who had kickstarted Imran on the tweeting path, just before he commenced shooting for ‘I Hate Luv Storys’.

Explaining his stance on quitting Twitter, Khan states in a tabloid quote, “While it encourages a two way communication, Twitter also needs you to be constantly in touch with fans, and after a point the questions can get pretty personal.”

Clarifies Khan, “I’d also like to state that I’m not quitting Twitter coz’ I’m angry or upset. On the contrary, I enjoyed reaching out to so many people. It’s been a lot of fun and I’m thankful for all the good times. I think what it all boils down to is that I just don’t feel Twitter is right for me.”
